Social Media Coordinator

Part-time position -- £15/h -- apply by 23 February 2023 12:00 pm BST

About us

We are a public engagement organisation that aims to generate discussions about racial inequality, gender and class discrimination, and legacies of empire in the city and university of Oxford and Cambridge. It was founded as a social enterprise in Oxford in 2018 and has been running tours and outreach events ever since.

Our main activity consists in research and discussion-based walking tours around the city which aim to raise awareness about ‘uncomfortable’ histories and foster respectful conversations. Tours will reflect on the landscape of the city, looking behind the obvious facades and landmarks to uncover the histories of power, privilege, and inequality that have shaped Oxford and Cambridge over the centuries, and which continue to influence it today.

Role description

We are opening a new position in our administrative team to lead and develop the organisation's social media presence. Please consult the role description above for further details on the role, including essential and desirable skills.
